The Secondary Math Network provides a collaborative space for middle and high school mathematics educators to connect, learn, and support one another in strengthening mathematics instruction. Participants will engage in meaningful discussions around common challenges in secondary mathematics and work together to identify practical solutions that support student learning.

Network meetings will focus on the implementation of the 2022 Minnesota Mathematics Standards, including opportunities to examine benchmark progressions, discuss sequencing and bundling of benchmarks, and explore instructional implications for secondary classrooms. Participants will also deepen their understanding of evidence-based mathematics teaching practices and consider how these practices can support rigorous and equitable learning experiences for all students.

In addition, the network provides valuable time for educators to share ideas, resources, and strategies, learn from colleagues across districts, and build a professional community dedicated to improving secondary mathematics education.
