Register your school to participate in the 2027 Spelling Bee.

You will register for the number of students your district will advance to the Regional Bee on February 9th.

Participation Fee per student advancing to the Regional Bee: Full Members – $105.00 / student advancing

Associate Members – $292.00 / student advancing

Our student programs are exclusive for associate and full members. If your district is currently not a member and would like to explore membership options, please contact Michelle Wang, Educator Director.

Scripps Enrollment & Fees

• August 18th - January 29th

You must also be registered with Scripps in order to participate in the Regional Spelling Bee.

Included in your enrollment to Scripps are: Official Pronouncers guide, Online Access to the Teacher’s Only Resources on the Website, Vocabulary Materials for the classroom, study materials, The Great Words, Great Works reading list, Britannica Online for Kids, Participation Certificates, and online testing platform.

Spelling Bee Coordinators Meeting

Spelling Bee Coordinator's meeting is for all schools wanting to participate in the 2027 Region 7 Regional Spelling Bee sponsored by Resource Training & Solutions at Ritsche Auditorium at St. Cloud State University in February. At this meeting we will go through updates to the spelling bee program and answer any questions you may have about hosting a school level meet. We strongly encourage ALL Coordinators to attend this meeting.

National Spelling Bee Week 2027 will take place in the heart of Washington, D.C., with DAR Constitution Hall serving as the official competition venue and the J.W. Marriott Washington, D.C. serving as host hotel.
