Mental Health Network 2023-24

The Mental Health Network is for school + county mental health related positions to come together for cross collaboration, idea sharing, develop professionally, and stay current on resources that help students be successful in school, at home, and in the community. Mental health related positions include but are not limited to: social workers, counselors, psychologists, truancy, probation, and administration leading efforts in the areas of safety and social emotional learning. Resource Training & Solutions will host six network meetings per school year

Structured Literacy Cohort 2 Fall 23 - Spring 25

Structured Literacy CohortTarget Audience: K-3 grade classroom teachers, K-6 EL teachers, K-12 special education teachers as appropriate, interventionists, related service specialists, or instructional coaches, administrators, others as you deem appropriate.Description: The Structured Literacy Cohort is an empowering professional learning that provides participants with a deep knowledge to be literacy and language experts in structured literacy practices. The facilitator will support participants through efficient pacing to complete online modules successfully, provide context and examples about the readings, and provide guidance on using the Bridge to Practice activities to make necessary connections back to the classroom.

Crisis Prevention and Preparedness: Comprehensive School Safety Planning

Counselor and CTE Network

Welcome School counselors, CTE Coordinators, and Work-based Instructors. These almost monthly network virtual meetings provide opportunities within this group to collaborate, share ideas, develop professionally, and stay current on issues facing schools and districts regarding post-secondary planning and career development. Each meeting will have a facilitator and agendas designed by network members.

Early Childhood Structured Literacy Cohort

The PK Structured Literacy Cohort is a professional learning experience for preschool and kindergarten teachers and support staff who desire a deeper knowledge of early literacy instruction.

Curriculum Coordinators/District Assessment Coordinators Network 23-24

The Curriculum Coordinators Network (CCN) and the District Assessment Coordinators (DAC) are two groups that often deal with similar issues. As a result, these two groups can collaborate, exchange information, and share best practices regarding curriculum, instruction, and assessment.

School Nurses Network 2023-2024

A network for those who work to ensure the health and wellness of students in their school and district. Network meetings provide an opportunity for School Nurses to connect and build relationships with other school nurses from around the region. Share ideas, stay up to date on issues facing schools, and develop professionally through CEU opportunities.

School Resource Officer Network

The School Resource Officer Network is a space for SRO’s and SRO Supervisors to collaborate and develop professionally with colleagues across the central MN region. Topics may include but are not limited to: mental health, trauma, autism, self-care + peer support, partnerships with Central MN Child Advocacy Center, and critical incident response. A MN POST credit will be offered on multiple dates.

Structured Literacy for Administrators

Target Audience: Principals, Superintendents, Curriculum Coordinators, Literacy Specialists, others who are leading literacy efforts within schools

The Technology Coordinators network meets five times per school year to discuss and collaborate on current issues in the area of technology use within schools.

Topics will include but are not limited to: trauma-informed practices, alternative discipline, brainspotting therapy, and school partnership opportunities. Mental health-related positions include but are not limited to social workers, counselors, and administration leading efforts in the areas of safety and social-emotional learning. Resource Training & Solutions will host six network meetings per school year. General CEUs will be provided when we conclude in May, based on individual attendance.
