The past few years have been stressful, even traumatic for our youth and our educators.

Wellness is critical to long-term outcomes for adults, which leads to long-term outcomes for our students. As your Central MN Service Cooperative, we are here to serve you, support you, and provide personal and professional growth opportunities in the areas of mental health, trauma, and resilience. As you learn new strategies, you can begin to use them with students, supporting their resilience and well-being. Our services will build and nurture skills, mindsets, and the capacity to create a culture where all can thrive.

10 Steps to Create a Trauma-Informed Resilient School

The bad news is trauma is a fact, but the good news is, so is resilience! We can’t talk about making a school trauma-informed without talking about how to make a school resilience-focused. We may not be able to take away toxic stress and trauma that a student has experienced or will continue to experience but we can create new experiences of resilience in our schools.‍This evidence-based 10-step training will ensure a trauma-informed, resilience-focused foundation is set for future growth and the betterment of the students you serve. This training will give you some new ideas and practical strategies and tools to use with individuals, groups, in the classroom, and school-wide to make your work with children both rewarding and effective.‍
