Now more than ever, it is essential for us to recognize, encourage, and celebrate the amazing educators and support staff across central Minnesota.
At the beginning of each school year, Resource Training & Solutions honors educators and support staff who are shining examples through two highly attended recognition events celebrating our region's success. In partnership with our member school districts, we celebrate teachers at our Leadership in Educational Excellence (LEEA) award banquet and honor support staff at our Educational Support Staff award ceremony. Resource Training & Solutions’ members nominate award recipients from each of their school districts.
Leadership in Educational Excellence Award Banquet (LEEA)
The 2022 Leadership in Educational Excellence award banquet was held on November 2, 2022, at the St. Cloud Rivers Edge Convention Center. Over 430 guests from participating school districts attended the event to honor 147 outstanding educators.
Member districts and schools across Resources’ central Minnesota region nominate award recipients. Selection can be based on knowledge of subject matter, leadership in curriculum development, and making a difference in the lives of students, staff, and the community. New this year, Resource Training & Solutions honored one central Minnesota educator and business partner with the Career Connected Learning Award. This award is given in recognition of education and industry partners who join together through a summer externship. The purpose of the Teacher Externship Program is to bring career-based classroom curricula to life while building a bridge between skill-based and knowledge-based education. Through this unique professional development opportunity, teachers from the Resource Training & Solutions region have the opportunity to work side-by-side with an industry peer during a 3 to 5 day summer externship at a participating central Minnesota business. Connecting classroom learning to industry has benefits for all of us - PK12 education, industry, and communities.

Educational Support Staff Award Ceremony (ESS)
The 2022 Educational Support Staff award ceremony was held on November 16, 2022, at the St. Cloud Rivers Edge Convention Center. Over 350 guests from participating school districts attended the event to honor 128 exceptional support staff.
Member districts and schools across Resources’ central Minnesota region nominate award recipients. Selection can be based on knowledge of work responsibilities, demonstration of safety, cultivation of respect, acting as a positive role model, displaying a genuine concern for others, and making a difference in the lives of students, staff, and the community.
