Resource Training & Solutions is excited to share important updates for our upcoming recognition events—including a new venue, updated event dates, and a unique opportunity for students to take the stage.
Introducing Our New Location
Beginning this year, all recognition events will be hosted at The Park Event Center in Waite Park. Located at 500 Division St, Waite Park, MN, The Park Event Center offers a modern, welcoming space designed to elevate the experience for honorees and guests alike. With its spacious layout, high-quality amenities, and central location, this new venue allows us to better celebrate the incredible students and staff across central Minnesota in a setting that matches the significance of these events.

Save the Dates
Mark your calendars for the upcoming recognition celebrations:
- Leadership in Educational Excellence Awards (LEEA) | September 30, 2026
- Educational Support Staff (ESS) Recognition | October 28, 2026
- Students of Excellence | April 21, 2027
Each of these events brings together schools from across our region to honor the individuals who make a lasting impact in our communities.

Now Accepting Student Performer Submissions
As part of our continued commitment to showcasing the talent within our region, Resource Training & Solutions is seeking student musical groups to perform during our recognition events.
We invite school-based ensembles—including band, orchestra, and choir groups—to audition for the opportunity to perform during the dinner service at one of our upcoming events.
Selected groups will have the chance to:
- Perform in front of educators, leaders, and community members from across central Minnesota
- Represent their school on a regional stage
- Contribute to a meaningful celebration of excellence
How to Apply:
Submit a 2–3 minute video that highlights your group’s performance to Celena Hansen at chansen@resourcecoop-mn.gov.
Submission Deadline: End of day Friday, May 1, 2026
Notification of Selection: By May 15, 2026

These events are a cornerstone of how we celebrate and uplift schools across our region. With a new venue and the addition of student performers, we’re looking forward to creating an even more memorable experience for everyone involved.
Help us spread the word—share our flyer with your district staff, particularly performing arts teachers and directors, to promote upcoming recognition events and encourage student performers to get involved.
