Resource Training & Solutions proudly recognized 135 seniors from across central Minnesota at the 39th Annual Students of Excellence Award Banquet on Wednesday, April 22. Honoring Students academic achievement, leadership, and contributions to their schools and communities.
More than 500 guests gathered to celebrate the honorees, including administrators, educators, and family members who have supported these students throughout their journey. Each student was selected by their school district based on criteria that reflect not only academic success, but also character, involvement, and leadership.
The evening opened with remarks from Mark Schmitz, who recognized the dedication behind each student’s success and the important role that educators, families, and communities play in shaping their path. Guests also enjoyed engaging entertainment from Parker Williams, bringing energy and excitement to the celebration.
Awards were presented by Ryan Butkowski, who congratulated each student and acknowledged the lasting impact they’ve made within their schools and communities.
As another inspiring evening comes to a close, this year’s banquet also marks the end of an era. For decades, the Students of Excellence event has brought communities together to celebrate the region’s top students—building a legacy of recognition that continues to grow each year.
Beginning this fall, a new chapter will begin. All recognition events will be hosted at The Park Event Center in Waite Park. This modern, welcoming venue offers a refreshed experience with a spacious layout, high-quality amenities, and a central location—creating an even more meaningful setting to honor the incredible students and staff across central Minnesota.
While the location may change, the purpose remains the same: celebrating excellence, recognizing achievement, and honoring the individuals who are shaping the future of our region.
