Senior High Knowledge Bowl Teams Compete for a Chance to Compete at the State Tournament
The Regional Knowledge Bowl Competition for Central Minnesota, Region 7 teams took place on Monday, March 13th at St. Cloud State University. The top 18 teams from the Sub-regional rounds competed for a chance to advance to the state competition.
Teams competed in one written round and five oral rounds of questions with scores broken down into three competitive divisions (A, AA, and AAA) based on school size. At the end of the meet the top two teams from each division advance to the State Knowledge Bowl Meet in April, for a total of 6 teams from Region 7 coordinated by Resource Training & Solutions.

- Zimmerman
The two Division A schools moving on to the state competition from our region are Melrose and Eden Valley-Watkins. The Division AA schools are North Branch and Zimmerman, and lastly, the two AAA schools advancing to state are Sartell-St. Stephen and Buffalo.
The State Knowledge Bowl Meet will be held April 13 - April 14 at Cragiun’s Resort in Brainerd. We would like to thank all of the students and coaches that competed in our Regional and Sub-regional Meets, and congratulates them on a successful season!
