The Minnesota Council for the Social Studies (MCSS) Recognizes Two Regional Educators for Excellence in Social Studies Instruction

Each year, MCSS selects one High School and one Middle School Social Studies Teacher to be honored at its annual conference. This year, both honorees for the MCSS Teacher of the Year Award teach in school districts that are members of Resource Training & Solutions. We would like to extend a special shout-out to these outstanding educators!

MCSS 2024 High School Teacher of the Year:

Aaron Johnson from Sauk Rapids-Rice High School in Sauk Rapids.

MCSS 2024 Middle School Teacher of the Year:

Autumn Heitzman from South Junior High School in St. Cloud.

Congratulations to these exceptional individuals, and thank you for your dedicated service to students! Aaron and Autumn will receive their awards at the annual conference on Monday, February 26th at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul.
