This professional learning series for high school teachers will focus on using benchmark data to strengthen instruction in the areas where students in our region are consistently performing below expectations. Together, we will examine benchmarks within the algebra strand, explore common misconceptions, and connect evidence-based teaching strategies to the specific skills and understandings students need. Teachers will leave with practical approaches, aligned tasks, and next steps they can immediately apply to support stronger student outcomes in these targeted areas.

This series kicks off in June with an overview of the 2022 MN Math Standards and a deep dive into regional benchmark data. It will continue throughout the school year with short meetings to support evidence based teaching practices and allow for collaboration across the region.
