In these collaborative sessions, we will design instruction that helps educators respond quickly and thoughtfully when students must shift to online learning during uncertain times. Grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), this professional development will focus on proactively reducing barriers for all students while supporting diverse learners and ensuring continued access to high-quality instruction and FAPE in virtual settings. Participants will identify current challenges, explore practical strategies to maintain engagement and accessibility, and redesign a lesson using flexible, equitable approaches. Educators will leave with a ready-to-use toolkit of free resources, adaptable ideas, and a one-page guide to strengthen online learning for all students.
A brief survey will be shared in advance to gather participant input and tailor the session to current needs.
