Our Boiler Licensing Preparation Course covers low pressure boilers used in steam and hot water heating applications. This course is designed for those who want to acquire a 2nd, 1st, or Special License. We highly recommend that individuals have general knowledge or have at least some prior work experience with boilers if attending for Special License. Boiler licensing application, exam scheduling and fee can be see from visiting MN Department of Labor website. Application and exam scheduling will be discussed during the course if you are not comfortable pre-registering for your exam or have questions regarding it.

*All courses are held in person at Resource Training & Solutions located in Sartell, MN. Materials and lunch will be provided.

John Glynn is a Chief A MN Boiler Operator License holder. He is a certified NBIC Commissioned Boiler Inspector. John also has 15 years of experience as a Boiler Class Instructor.

Vendors we provide are the result of either formal bids (identified as State Bid or SB) or negotiated contracts (identified as Preferred Vendors or PV).

The contracted vendors we have known as State Bid or SB vendors are established through formal bids and purchasing from them satisfies Minnesota competitive bidding requirements - regardless of the amount of the purchase. The ability to do so is outlined in Minnesota Statutes123A.2 and 471.345.

The combination of these two statutes gives members the ability to purchase from contracted vendors while remaining in compliance with the Minnesota competitive bidding requirements.

Fill out the form - There are six parts of the form you must complete. They all have asterisks on them. The rest of the parts are optional. Notice that when you put down your school or CCOGA name a drop down list comes up of all the eligible organizations. You can use this to finish your organization name.
