Getting Real About Race at School
One barrier in the quest for racially equitable schools is the hesitance of educators to confront racial inequity directly and honestly. In this workshop, we will practice rejecting the hesitance and name how racism operates in our schools, impacting educational outcomes and educational experiences for students of color. We will discuss what educators can do to root inequity out and embrace equity in education.
Onward: Building Emotional Resiliency in Educators Workshop
This workshop presents strategies that cultivate resiliency that can be incorporated into coaching or supervision conversations and provides suggestions for organizational and structural changes to foster resiliency in teams and groups.
