The Resilience Group training provides a run-through of an 8 week Resilience Group for middle and high school students. The purpose of the group is for students to gain the experience of building emotional resilience through practical reflections, discussions, and activities. Each topic has roughly 50 minutes of material, which can also be broken down into smaller sections. . Material can be used in two ways:

  1. Use as an 8 week group led by a counselor, social worker, case manager, or educator
  2. Incorporate materials into class as social emotional learning opportunities for students
The training slides I use with you will be the same slides (with embedded activities) you will use with students to help them build and nurture the resilience that lives within them.
