According to the Minnesota Student Survey, our girls are struggling now more than ever.
This Girls Group training provides a run-through of an 8 week group for middle school and high school girls. The purpose of the group is for girls to learn about themselves, stress, build peer support, as well as provide direct services for those who may have identified needs. This group includes skill building in the areas of emotion management, assertiveness, mindfulness, problem solving, and positive connections. The weekly lessons are designed to assist girls in developing skills that will help them with everyday stress as well the chronic stress they may be experiencing. Each topic has roughly 50 minutes of material, which can also be broken down into smaller sections.

The training slides I use with you will be the same slides (with embedded activities) you will use with students to help them build and nurture the strength that lives within them.
