About the trainer:
Lacey Smieja is the preferred city clerk trainer of the Minnesota Service Cooperatives. Lacey formerly held roles as City Clerk/Treasurer of the City of Motley, MN and has worked as an auditor/quality control specialist in the private sector at a law firm out of California. She has a master degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University and also holds the designation of a Minnesota Certified Municipal Clerk. Through her extensive experience, Lacey can help you navigate the complexities of the city clerk role.
