Educational Support Professionals Network

The Educational Support Professionals Network is an opportunity for any adult who serves in an educational support role to connect with their peers. This year we are focusing on resilience and workplace wellbeing.

Educational support work is incredibly important. It’s often one-on-one with vulnerable students who have the highest needs. Added to this is the ability to adapt to working with different teachers’ expectations, behavior management styles, and classroom culture. These requirements can make the workplace stressful. It’s not about avoiding stress. It’s about learning to navigate one’s way through challenging situations.

These strengths-based sessions equip individuals with a set of practical skills that can be applied in everyday life to navigate adversity and thrive in challenging environments. Together, through seven sessions during the school year we will explore the following:

  • How do I boost my individual resilience, improve my well being, and avoid burnout?
  • What can we do to build relationships and to support each other?
  • How do I model resilience for others?

Meeting Dates and Fees: TBD

The cost of this network has been reduced due to a partnership with MDH.
