Building Resilience in Education
As a Minnesota Service Cooperative, Resource Training & Solutions has listened and is ready to serve. We are excited to provide professional learning for adults in education centered around resilience and well-being. We want you to feel empowered, supported, and valued. Our services are designed to assist you in building personal and professional awareness and recognize and strengthen your resilience. Your wellness is critical to long-term outcomes for our students. As you learn new strategies you can begin to use them with students, supporting their resilience and well-being. Our services provide ongoing, scaffolded, and comprehensive support to develop skills, mindsets, and the capacity to create a culture for all to thrive.
Overview and Outcomes:
Resilience is our ability to bounce back from the stresses of life. It’s not about avoiding stress but learning to navigate our way through challenging times. Employee well-being and resilience increases work performance, and a workplace that actively supports employees creates an environment where adults and students thrive.
This year we are excited to offer research-based programming for adults in education. The objectives of this program are to build positive workplaces one staff member at a time. Through this program an individual will have the resources and training to be able to:
- Self-assess their current well-being
- Increase their awareness in strategies to improve well-being
- Create, implement, and revise goals to improve well-being
- Practice effective skills and habits of resilience
