Is your district exploring standards-based grading? Wanting to learn from a national expert? Then this cohort is for you! Join some of your regional colleagues in “Year 0” – an exploration of standards-based grading with Tom Schimmer (Solution Tree). Year Zero consists of:
- A regional book study of Grading from the Inside Out, written by Schimmer – Starting in September (virtual)
- Guidance for leading faculty meetings focused on micro topics for exploration & discussion
- Professional Development on solidifying the standards-based grading mindset with Tom Schimmer – April 29 (in-person)
- Support for establishing a guiding coalition, or leadership team, that does the heavy lifting for faculty
Districts are encouraged to register teams of individuals for this cohort. However, individual registrations will also be accepted.
