A one-day risk assessment workshop in which districts would substantially complete the Security Studio S2Org self-assessment under the guidance of a trained security analyst. This is an important step in understanding the risks associated with information security and starting a plan for addressing the identified risks.



The workshop would include:

An overview of information security risks
An Overview of the Security Studio program for organizations, schools, and individuals
Set up of a Security Studio account
Walkthrough of the S2Org self-assessment to include questions related to administrative controls, physical security of data, internal technical controls and most of the external technical assessment
How to obtain and use a free 7-day trial of Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanner to scan networks for external and internal vulnerabilities
Information on reconnaissance and enumeration testing.



This workshop is for Technology Coordinators as well as Human Resources, Facilities, and Business Managers
